2017 DSB Prize Assigned by the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the National Research Council of Italy (DSB-CNR) “in recognition of particularly significant results of research carried out in the field of biological and biomedical imaging”, for the project entitled "Artificial intelligence applied to biomedical imaging for the identification of new biomarkers for the early diagnosis and the prediction of neurological diseases”. Prize: 10.000,00 €

2017 Youth In Action Award for sustainable development goals Promoted and assigned by Fondazione Italiana Accenture, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, and Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli “in recognition of the innovative, high social and technological impact that will help to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Italy”, for the project entitled “TRACE4AD: The RAdiologist's Cognitive Eyes for Alzheimer's Disease". Prize: 1,500,00 € and paid stage at "Fondazione Bracco" and "Centro Diagnostico Italiano". The project was also selected for an invited presentation at the Italian Parliament in Rome, during the closing of the Sustainable Development Festival (06/2017).

2017 Peres Heritage Initiative Award Assigned by the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation in partnership with The European House – Ambrosetti “to a young social innovator, entrepreneur or researcher who distinguished himself for the excellent results in fields consistent with the values promoted by Shimon Peres: pursuit of peace, green and circular economy, sustainability, inclusive business models, non-profit, social innovation, technological and scientific development, integration, new challenges in education”. The prize was awarded at The European House - Ambrosetti (Villa d'Este, Cernobbio, 09/2017), which hosts the initiative within the annual forum “Intelligence of the world, Europe, Italy" (1-3 september 2017). The winning project was presented in the presence of heads of state and government, ministers, Nobel prizes, entrepreneurs, managers and experts on issues of major impact for the global economy and society as a whole.

2017 Civic Merit assigned by the Municipality of Nova Milanese “For the prestigious national and international results in scientific research”.

2017 Angelo Marai Prize (V edition) Assigned by ASIS (assegnato da ASIS (Assosiaction of Studies on the Health Industry) and Carlo Erba Foundation to a PhD who, during his/her doctoral studies, carried out particularly innovative research which may constitute a basis for future programs in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. Prize: 2.500,00 €.
